EcoExpo is on again from the 12th - 13th May at the Entertainment quarter, Fox Studios.
Entry is $10, but if you use the voucher attached below, $1 of that will come back to us and support our work.
Sprout holds a diverse and vibrant local Community Market on the first Thursday of each month (except winter & Jan). Dates for the rest of 2011 are: April 7th, May 5th, Sept 1st, Oct 6th, Nov 3rd, Dec 1st, Dec 15th.
Green Renters has been nominated as a finalist for a WWF Earth Hour award in the Education category. It's a great honor for a relatively new and small organisation like our not for profit to be nominated and to be in a group of four finalists out of the thousands of applications across Australia is really something special.
Expert presenters Matthew Nelson and Zandy Tibballs from the Metro Waste Management Group (MWMG) and a member of The Sharehood will explain hands-on ways you can become a Zero Waste Living household by taking fun, simple and interesting actions to reduce your waste.

Do you live in the City of Sydney? Are you keen to make your home more energy-efficient? The University of Sydney has asked for our help to find households to take part in their unique energy conservation research project.
A team at Sydney Uni would like to explore whether people would live more sustainably if their energy consumption were on display. To investigate, they plan to install temporary chalk boards on the front of participating houses, and update the boards regularly with changes in household electricity use.
Being the sceptic I am, I sometimes find these high profile events a little awkward and token, wondering if they help much in the long run, but every little helps, especially in the battle to convince the masses, maybe a bit of competition is what's needed...
